Job description

Looking for Qualified Automotive Service Writers and Managers? We have an immediate opening with top pay and a generous incentive plan.

Depending on experience, compensation ranges from $25 to $40 an hour, with the potential to earn $150,000+ per year through an unlimited incentive plan.

We are a locally owned and operated shop with over 30 years of service. Our team is dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise gained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are seeking automotive service managers to oversee and direct all service department activities in a retail store selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. This role is a Store Manager developmental position. Midas is committed to training and promoting from within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in shop operations
• Deliver exceptional customer service, including listening and consulting with customers
• Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times
• Oversee vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build computerized repair orders, and source parts
• Present pricing estimates to customers and promote shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train team members, aligning with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
• Supervise up to ten employees
• Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
