The Midas Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance, including safety, efficiencies, and profit/loss accountability. The role involves promoting customer satisfaction, retention, and growth of existing and new business. The Store Manager oversees operations related to cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and safety, providing strong leadership to foster a harmonious, collaborative, and productive work environment.

We seek a seasoned manager with management spirit, responsible for operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of automotive repair experience, supervisory/management experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

As a Midas Store Manager, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians, including:

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees
• Deliver exceptional customer service, consulting with customers about services
• Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times
• Oversee vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build repair orders, and source parts
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train the team, aligning with company values and vision
• Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions from Service Advisors
• Supervise technicians in inspections, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles
• Maintain inventory counts and manage inventory losses
• Ensure facility cleanliness, organization, and environmental compliance
• Manage employee payroll, record-keeping, and scheduling
• Update and submit daily sales reports to corporate

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience
• General automotive knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong POS and internet skills
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license
