Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000+ based on experience, plus bonuses, sales spiffs, and incentives.

Job Description

The Store Manager leads daily operations, overseeing General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Managers. Reporting to the District Manager, responsibilities include coaching staff, achieving sales goals, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent guest service to promote Monro's vision of quality automotive care.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop sales and technical staff to deliver a 5-star Guest experience.
  2. Achieve sales targets through effective planning and product knowledge.
  3. Introduce products to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  4. Train and support teammates in shop operations and guest services.
  5. Manage staffing, recruiting, training, and performance evaluations.
  6. Control expenses related to payroll, supplies, and store maintenance.
  7. Manage inventory, including tire and parts stocking.
  8. Ensure store cleanliness and readiness.
  9. Schedule appointments and assign tasks based on skill levels.
  10. Promote sales and handle guest inquiries and complaints.
  11. Build customer loyalty through relationship management.
  12. Convey repair needs clearly to guests.
  13. Adhere to safety and company policies, including OSHA standards.
  14. Maintain technical proficiency through ongoing training.
  15. Operate and maintain equipment safely.
  16. Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Leadership experience in retail or sales.
  • Proven ability to meet financial goals while controlling costs.
  • Strong motivational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Background check required for certain responsibilities.
