Sheehy Auto Stores seeks a motivated Staff Accountant to join a rotational training program designed for recent accounting graduates and early-career professionals.

The program provides hands-on experience in dealership accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and operational analysis under experienced Controllers and management, with a clear path toward future Controller opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting/finance.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience or internship is a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel and Office programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Willingness to travel periodically to dealership locations for training.

Responsibilities

Through a dedicated training schedule, you will rotate through multiple dealership accounting offices, gaining hands-on experience in dealership accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and operational analysis. Working alongside experienced Controllers and dealership management teams, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to lead a dealership accounting department.
