Job summary

Passport Automotive Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our high-volume dealership finance team. Recent graduates will apply their accounting education to daily operations in AP/AR, reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation.

You will collaborate with the Controller and Office Manager to learn dealership accounting workflows and gain hands-on experience, with clear pathways to advancement into roles such as Billing Clerk, Title Clerk, Staff Accountant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with dealership DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack) preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn automotive-specific accounting processes

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations across multiple departments
• Process AP/AR, bank deposits, and account reconciliations
• Assist with schedule maintenance and monthly financial statement preparation
• Review deal jackets for accuracy and compliance
