Job summary

Finnegan Auto Group seeks a skilled Service Technician in Rosenberg, TX to diagnose and repair vehicles across makes and models. You will perform inspections, repairs to manufacturer specifications, and keep customers informed about progress.

Responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, communicating with the Service Advisor, and executing warranty work when required. The role offers training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a team-focused shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification preferred.
• A,B,C level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and good hand–eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform if additional service is needed and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
