Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle services and repairs, including tire work, oil changes, and preventative maintenance, following Monro standards. The role emphasizes safety, guest satisfaction, and accurate communication of findings.

You will contribute to a clean, well-organized store, assist with inventory, and participate in ongoing Monro University training. The position is available as full-time or part-time and is hourly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs in accordance with Monro standards.
• Tire services including wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting and TPMS service.
• Vehicle services such as lubrications, oil changes, and basic maintenance.
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist with inventory management and store duties to maintain cleanliness and guest readiness.
• Adhere to safety standards and Monro procedures during all services and tests.
• Test drive vehicles per policy while following traffic and safety rules.
• Maintain knowledge through Monro University training modules.
