Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs at our service centers.

The role is hourly and available as full-time or part-time, with a focus on delivering fast, quality service and clear communication to guests about vehicle issues and recommended solutions. The position involves tire and vehicle services, adherence to safety standards, assisting with parts and inventory, and contributing to a clean, guest-ready store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs in accordance with Monro standards.
• Tire services: wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting and TPMS service.
• Vehicle services: lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance, battery testing.
• Complete Monro Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and store duties to maintain cleanliness and guest readiness.
• Follow safety standards and Monro policies, including road test procedures.
