Job summary

Monro is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repair to Monro standards. The role is hourly and available in full-time or part-time capacity, designed to deliver 5 Star service with clear communication about vehicle issues and proposed solutions.

You will conduct tire and vehicle services, complete courtesy inspections, and assist with inventory and store duties while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the shop environment.

Qualifications

• Basic car maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Strong communication to inform guests of vehicle issues and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs per Monro standards.
• Tire services: wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting, TPMS repair.
• Vehicle services: lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance, battery testing/installation.
• Complete Monro Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist with inventory: pull tires/parts, stock inventory.
• Support store duties to maintain cleanliness and guest-ready condition.
• Follow safety standards and road test policies during operations.
