Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy per standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized.
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Tag and save parts; return if under warranty or requested by customer.
• Advise service advisor if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed as promised.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs addressed customer concerns.
• Keep vehicles clean; follow safety and housekeeping policies.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations governing service repair work.
