Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) in the Phoenix area. Role involves performing repairs to dealership vehicles to high standards and addressing customer concerns with precise diagnostics.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $5,000.00, competitive compensation, a 401(k) with company match, and extensive benefits. Prior technician experience and ASE certifications are preferred, with opportunities for training and growth within the Ken Garff network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify Service Advisor if more time is needed.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
