Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) to perform precise repairs and inspections at the Kia Bell Rd dealership, following dealership, state and factory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state drivers license and a good driving record.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• Prior automotive technician experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify Service Advisor if additional recommendations or more time is needed.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
