Job summary

Stokes Hodges Ford in Kentucky is seeking a dependable Automotive Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance, with Ford certification preferred and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

We offer a 5-day work week with no mandatory weekends, employer-paid factory training, paid time off, holidays, a 401(k) with match, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance. Must have own tools, a high school diploma, and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive technician experience with strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify issues and determine repairs.

• Maintain accurate service records for each vehicle.

Requirements

What you must have to be successful:

• Automotive Service Technician Experience (Ford Preferred)
• Great mechanical skills and time management skills
• Computer literate with attention to detail
• Must be team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• Must have own tools
• High School Diploma
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a Good Driving Record

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand 8 hours a day
• Must be able to tolerate working in hot and cold weather
• Must be able to kneel, bend, twist
• Must be able to lift up to 50 without assistance
