Job summary

Pecheles Automotive is growing and our Ford and Toyota service teams need Experienced Automotive Technicians. If you have 3-5 years of experience and are ready to advance your career with manufacturer-specific training, we want to hear from you!

We offer a 5-day work week with WEEKENDS OFF, a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience. You'll also benefit from ongoing brand-specific training, certification opportunities, and a supportive, team-oriented work environment designed to help

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive technician experience required.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver’s license.
• I-CAR or NC license/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and warranty guidelines.
• Complete all brand and career training as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Successfully complete all brand and career assigned training

Qualifications

• Service technician certifications preferred, but will train and certify experienced, driven techs
• Strong automotive background
• Ability to work with a team
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• I-CAR Certificate of Advanced Training, preferred
• NC State Inspection License
• Commitment and record for excellent attendance and punctuality
