Job summary

Pecheles Automotive is seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians for our Ford and Toyota service teams. With 3-5 years of experience, you will perform repairs and participate in manufacturer-specific training.

We offer a 5-day work week with weekends off, a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience, and ongoing brand-specific training with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive technician experience.
• Experience with Ford and Toyota brand-specific training preferred.
• Must have clean driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screen & background check.
• I-CAR training preferred; NC State Inspection license.
• Willing to train and certify experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order efficiently and to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional service and time estimates.
• Complete brand and career training as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Successfully complete all brand and career assigned training

Qualifications

• Service technician certifications preferred, but will train and certify experienced, driven techs
• Strong automotive background
• Ability to work with a team
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
• I-CAR Certificate of Advanced Training, preferred
• NC State Inspection License
• Commitment and record for excellent attendance and punctuality
