Glockner’s in Ashland, KY is seeking Automotive Mechanics from entry level to experienced technicians. You will complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles per dealership and manufacturer standards, diagnose problems, and perform road tests to confirm repairs. Strong communication with service advisors about repairs and timelines is essential.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred
• 1+ years of automotive repair experience
• Valid/Clean driver's license
• Complete pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Mechanical skills
• Customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose problems related to a vehicle's engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC system
• Take vehicles out on road tests to confirm that a repair has been successfully completed
• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and timelines
• Other duties assigned based on level of experience
