Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC in Henderson, KY is seeking a Service Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance per repair orders, using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment. Qualifications

Previous experience at an automotive dealership.
Strong understanding of the service drive.
Years of experience vary per position.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dexterity and steady hand.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer competencies.
Positive, friendly attitude with customer service mindset.
Enjoy fast-paced environments and teamwork.
Ability to learn new technology and procedures.
Operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional repairs and time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
