Job summary

Glockner-Chevrolet in Ashland, KY is seeking automotive technicians at all levels—from entry to experienced—to perform maintenance and repairs to dealership and manufacturer standards.

You will diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC issues and conduct road tests to verify repairs. Expect competitive wages and a benefits package including 401K and discounts.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred.
• 1+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Complete pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Mechanical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose problems related to a vehicle's engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, or HVAC system.
• Take vehicles out on road tests to confirm that a repair has been successfully completed.
• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs and timelines
• Other duties assigned based on level of experience
