Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for Coggin Ford Deland in Florida. You will perform routine repairs, diagnose vehicles, and work with a team to deliver quality service while upholding Asbury standards.

Responsibilities include using inspection forms, documenting work, communicating with advisors, and completing warranty procedures. The role emphasizes ongoing training through manufacturer programs, maintenance of CSI targets, and ensuring customer vehicles are returned clean

Qualifications

• Must have basic automotive tools.
• Proven mechanical and technical skills.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsabilités

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with the service advisor when additional work is needed.
• Maintain technician proficiency per Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work when needed and practical.
• Perform diagnosis and repairs across vehicle systems.
• Perform preventive/routine maintenance services.
• Participate in manufacturer training and programs.
• Maintain CSI metrics at or above goals.
• Complete warranty paperwork and filing as required.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and in good condition.
• Comply with regulations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA rules).
