Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles in a dynamic service environment. The role requires strong mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred (not mandatory)
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs on customer vehicles including light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, and electrical/HVAC systems.
• Make accurate use of diagnosis tools and complete multi-point inspections.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and communicate needs to the service advisor.
• Maintain technician proficiency per company standards and complete warranty-related tasks.
• Possess strong safety awareness and ensure vehicles returned clean to customers.
