Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician at Coggin Hyundai DeLand to repair and diagnose customer vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and participate in ongoing training. You will document work carefully, communicate with advisors, and ensure customer satisfaction with timely service completion.

The role requires basic tools, a valid driver’s license, and a team-oriented, safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Must be eighteen years or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnose customer vehicles with some assistance.
• Repair light engine work, transmissions, HVAC, steering and suspension.
• Document all work on repair orders and communicate with service advisors as needed.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure customer vehicles are returned clean.
• Participate in manufacturer training programs to stay current with tech.
• Maintain CSI scores according to company goals.
