Responsibilities:

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and provide time estimates for repairs.
5. Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Service Technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
• Qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair (B level).
• Steady hand with excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to learn and improve.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Hyundai or Genesis certified technicians preferred, as we are a Genesis Franchise.
