Job summary

Team Car Care in Indio, CA is seeking a General Service Technician to professionally service guests' vehicles and pursue a path that includes a structured training program and certification. This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality care to create an exceptional guest experience.

Primary duties include performing oil changes, inspecting fluids, documenting work, and maintaining a clean service center while growing your automotive knowledge and skills through our training

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer-facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on-time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Perform oil changes, inspect and refill fluids, and replace filters.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and communicate findings to teammates.
• Maintain a clean, safe service center and adhere to safety policies.
• Mentor junior technicians where applicable.
