Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician who loves repairing cars and delivering outstanding guest experiences. The B Level Technician handles routine repairs and basic diagnosis with some assistance, including light engine work, electrical, HVAC, steering and suspension, and other manufacturer-approved tasks.

You will use manufacturer training to stay current, maintain high CSI scores, complete warranty work, and collaborate with service advisors.

Qualifications

• Must have strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications and manufacturer certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the promised time.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs to expand knowledge.
• Maintain customer satisfaction as per company goals.
• Complete warranty repair orders and claims.
