Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Technician to repair cars, assist with guest experiences, and contribute to a fast-changing automotive service environment. A strong candidate will perform preventive maintenance and light repairs with minimal supervision, and may assist senior technicians with complex jobs.

Responsibilities include inspections, basic diagnostics, proper documentation, and ongoing training. Valid license, basic tools, and a positive attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required.
• Previous automotive experience as a 'D' level tech required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair; basic brake diagnosis and repair; alignments; tire repair; TPMS repairs.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Examine vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Stay up to date with factory bulletins, campaigns, updates and recalls.
