Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to repair and diagnose customer vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and document work with accuracy. You will communicate with service advisors, conduct road tests, and maintain proficiency per manufacturer and Asbury standards.

Ideal candidates have ASE and manufacturer certifications, prior automotive experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role involves teamwork, safety compliance, and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnose issues on customer vehicles.
• Document all work on the repair order and communicate when additional work is needed.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and performance.
• Maintain technician proficiency per Asbury standards.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training to learn new technology.
• Maintain CSI scores at or above the goal set by Asbury.
