Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (B level) in Arlington, TX to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training. The role emphasizes thorough inspections, accurate documentation, and strong customer service to maintain CSI goals.

The candidate should have basic tools and be a team player with solid mechanical skills, plus the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have basic tools.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Minimum of automotive technician experience.
• Must be eighteen years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work done and ensure proper operation.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer training and Asbury guidance to stay current with technology.
• Complete warranty repairs and file warranty claims as required.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and in original condition.
