Job summary

Capital Kia of Jacksonville is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The technician will work with the service team to accurately diagnose issues and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.

You will test drive, use diagnostic tools, communicate with the Service Advisor, provide repair estimates, and support warranty work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an auto technician preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
