Capital Kia of Jacksonville is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, ensuring top service quality. The candidate should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as auto technician preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment background screenings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
