Job summary
Raceway Kia of Freehold in Freehold, NJ is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will perform routine maintenance, document work orders, and collaborate with the service team to ensure quality service.
The ideal candidate has automotive technician experience, strong diagnostic skills, a valid driver's license, and good communication. ASE certification is preferred but not required; ongoing training is provided.
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
- ASE certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
- Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide repair recommendations.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete and document repair orders accurately.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely service.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on technology.
