Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Service Technician, Class A at DCH Honda of Temecula. You will perform repairs per repair orders, diagnose causes, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 105% Repairs

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company procedures.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanic tools.

Business Hours: Monday - Friday: 7am-6pm; Saturday: 8am-5pm

What You’ll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording At and clocking procedures.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

• Engine Repair

• Brake Repair
• Electrical/Electrical Systems Repair
• Heating and A/C Repair
• Engine Drivability Diagnosis and Repair (Optional)
• Certification/Training: Manufacturer certified in all areas listed above.
• At least 3 ASE certifications (Certified to be an ASE Master Technician)
• Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 105% Customer Pay Repairs
• Automotive Technical Knowledge – Three or more years of experience

Total Rewards

The estimated flat rate earning range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/FRH, which includes bonus opportunities such as Production/Productivity.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
