L0446 Centennial Hyundai in Nevada is hiring Service Technicians with pay of $24–$38 per flat rate hour, depending on experience. Flexible schedule includes weekdays and Sundays off, with a family-oriented team culture and growth opportunities.

The role involves diagnosing, repairing, road-testing, and documenting vehicle work to Lithia standards. Ideal candidates bring smog or emissions certification, strong automotive knowledge, and an excellent driving record.

Qualifications

• Smog license or state emissions certification required where applicable.
• Customer Pay Proficiency Level: greater than 115% of repairs.
• Automotive technical knowledge with five plus years’ experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized workspace and regular stall cleaning.

Role requires flexible schedule with 1 day off during the week and all Sundays off.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as “special tools”. Return special tools to proper place.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
