Job summary

Atlantic Auto Group is seeking experienced service professionals for our NY service department, including Master A, B, C levels and Express/Lube Technicians. We offer a union shop environment, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package with ongoing training and room for advancement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years automotive experience, ASE certifications, and a valid NY driver’s license with a clean driving record. Drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of relevant automotive experience preferred.
• ASE certifications.
• A, B, or C level qualifications plus Express.
• Broad automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Valid and clean NYS driver’s license.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Check fluids and replace fluids/filters as needed.
• Diagnose issues based on experience and testing.
• Follow shop policies, safety and environmental rules.
• Manage repairs by setting customer expectations.
• Perform routine service inspections and maintenance jobs.
• Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Attend staff meetings, training and classes as required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service/repairs.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one to two years of automotive technician experience. An unrestricted NYS driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required
• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
• Follows all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
• Makes repair recommendations and manages the delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
• Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles

• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Schedule 5 Day Work Week - 7:30 am - 5 pm (4 days Mon-Fri and 1 Saturday)

Looking for a candidate who can work 4 Weekdays and Saturday
