Atlantic Auto Group is hiring automotive technicians for a long-term role in a strong union shop on Long Island. Candidates with Honda, Toyota, or Hyundai experience are welcome, with substantial benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement.

The role requires 1–2 years of technician experience, a valid NY driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team. A background check and drug test are required.

Responsabilidades

• Check all fluids and maintenance-related parts, and top off or replace fluids/filters as required.
• Diagnose issues based on experience and testing.
• Follow shop policies, safety, and environmental rules.
• Provide repair recommendations and manage delivery by setting customer expectations.
• Perform routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance jobs.
• Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Attend staff meetings, training, and classes.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are offering long-term career positions for automotive professionals in our union shop.

We offer great union benefits, training, and incentives, as well as opportunities for advancement. Honda, Toyota, or Hyundai experience is a plus, but experience with other brands is ok. The ideal candidate has at least one to two years of automotive technician experience, and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment, have a positive attitude, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and deliver world-class customer service. An unrestricted NYS driver's license and a clean driving record is required. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

C LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required
• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
• Follows all shop policy, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
• Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule 5 Day Work Week - 7:30 am - 5 pm (4 days Mon-Fri and 1 Saturday)

Looking for a candidate who can work 4 Weekdays and Saturday
