Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check all fluids and maintenance-related parts; top off or replace fluids/filters as required.
• Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Follow shop policies, safety and environmental rules.
• Make repair recommendations and manage delivery of repairs by setting customer expectations.
• Perform routine service inspections or tests; complete standard maintenance jobs.
• Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Attend staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Comply with and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are offering long-term career positions for automotive professionals in our union shop.

We offer great union benefits, training, and incentives, as well as opportunities for advancement. Honda, Toyota, or Hyundai experience is a plus, but experience with other brands is ok.

The ideal candidate has at least one to two years of automotive technician experience, and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment, have a positive attitude, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and deliver world-class customer service. An unrestricted NYS driver's license and a clean driving record is required. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

C LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

• ASE certifications
