Atlantic Auto Group in Long Island, NY is seeking an automotive technician for our union shop. The role focuses on servicing autos and light trucks, performing diagnostics, and delivering world-class customer service in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsabilités

• Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required.
• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Follows all shop policy, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are offering long-term career positions for automotive professionals in our union shop.

We offer great union benefits, training, and incentives, as well as opportunities for advancement. Honda, Toyota, or Hyundai experience is a plus, but experience with other brands is ok.

The ideal candidate has at least one to two years of automotive technician experience, and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment, have a positive attitude, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and deliver world-class customer service. An unrestricted NYS driver's license and a clean driving record is required. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
