Job summary

Findlay Volvo Cars Las Vegas is seeking experienced journeyman Technicians to support a booming service operation. You will perform repairs, diagnose, and maintain a range of automotive systems to dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive certifications and dealership experience.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Valid Nevada driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as listed on repair orders with efficiency per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed work and estimated time.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
