Job summary

Findlay Toyota in Prescott, AZ is seeking experienced journeyman automotive technicians to support a booming service operation.

You will perform repairs per repair orders, test-drive vehicles, diagnose engine, transmission, electrical and suspension systems, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional work and time estimates.

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership certifications and experience required.
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with automobile insurance and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
