Job summary

Group 1 Toyota Certified Capital Plaza is seeking Automotive Flat-Rate Technicians to join our team in the United States. The position pays $25.00–$50.00 per hour based on experience and includes a benefits package that covers Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, Life & Disability Insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO, and other employee programs.

Responsibilities include high-quality repairs, rigorous diagnostics, maintaining safety and cleanliness, road-testing vehicles, and communicating repair status

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE certification in brakes, electrical/electronic systems, or engine performance is preferred.
• Experience as an Automotive Flat-Rate Technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred but not required

Compensation: The pay for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr. based on experience.
