Group 1 Honda Greenbelt, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking an Automotive Flat Rate Technician in Greenbelt, MD. The role focuses on high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and safe, efficient work in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will perform road tests, stay current with evolving automotive tech, and uphold our values while delivering exceptional customer service. Competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Competenze

• 3-4+ years experience as an Automotive Flat Rate Technician.
• Honda experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification(s) or certification(s) in brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Group 1 Honda Greenbelt is part of Group 1 Automotive, one of the largest leaders in automotive retail sales and service. We are growing and looking forAutomotive Flat Rate Technicians to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years experience as an Automotive Flat Rate Technician required
• Honda experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Compensation: The pay for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr. based on experience.
