Napleton Italian Imports in Carmel, Indiana seeks an Automotive Service Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance. You will diagnose issues, explain repairs to customers, and coordinate with the parts team to keep service flow smooth.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• ASE, Maserati, or Chrysler certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers and non-mechanical staff.
• Keep up to date with factory technical bulletins and participate in training.
• Maintain an organized work area and inform management of repair issues as they arise.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Service Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton Italian Imports in Carmel, Indiana, the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE, Maserati, or Chrysler certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/rules
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
