Job summary

Livermore Ford and Lincoln is seeking a Ford Service Technician in Livermore, CA to join a growing team. The role focuses on performing repairs, diagnosing needs, and communicating with customers and the Service Advisor to ensure accurate timelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Ford dealer experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and Ford Certification preferred. Excellent troubleshooting, a team mindset, and a clean driving record are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service technician experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ford Certification highly preferred.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical and engine repair skills.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on orders with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose using tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer warranty specifications.
