Job summary

DARCARS Lanham Ford is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians/Mechanics to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and service Ford vehicles across cars, trucks, and SUVs, applying your technical skills to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience required.
• Ford factory training and ASE/A/C certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Ford diagnostic systems and repair procedures preferred.
• Must have basic hand tools and the ability to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Proficient in routine maintenance, vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and general automotive repair.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems, engine performance concerns, HVAC, steering and suspension and driveline systems.
• Commitment to quality repairs, customer satisfaction, and dealership performance standards.
• Strong attention to detail; work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order.
• Use multi-point inspection forms on each vehicle.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed.
• Maintain technician proficiency per DARCARS standards.
• Road test to confirm work and restore vehicle to customer.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Conduct preventive/routine maintenance services.
• Participate in manufacturer training and stay updated on new technology.
