Job summary

DARCARS Lanham Ford is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians to join our service team. This position offers $30–$50 per hour based on experience, with seniority bonuses and a robust benefits plan.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair Ford vehicles across cars, trucks, and SUVs, using Ford diagnostic systems and the latest vehicle technologies. Join a dealership that values quality, safety, and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Ford factory training and certifications are a plus.
• ASE certifications and A/C certification are a plus.
• Experience with Ford diagnostic systems and repair procedures preferred.
• Must have basic hand tools and the ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by DARCARS standards.
• Conduct road test to determine work needed and to confirm work was successfully completed when necessary and practical.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services.
