Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Assistant Manager in McKinney, TX to lead daily service operations and grow into key leadership roles. You will supervise technicians, ensure high standards of customer service, and support the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, coordinating service workflows, performing multi-point inspections, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on management skills with motivation.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build trust.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently creating results for customers, teammates and the company
• Ensure customers are greeted courteously and receive high level customer service
• Complete work accurately and quickly while customers remain in their vehicles
• Perform courtesies for every customer (clean windshield, lubricating door hinges)
• Perform multi-point inspection
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed
• Advise Service Consultant and/or VSI for additional mechanical service work
• Inspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission
• Inspect belts, hoses, and wiper blades
• Check air pressure of tires
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Must be able to perform all duties described in the SOS book
• Oversees and manages all store operations when the Store Manager is absent
• Must be able to do inventory and complete stock orders
• Must be able to open and close the store
