Auffenberg Dealer Group in Belleville, IL seeks a Non-Union Certified Service Technician to join a family-owned group with a long history since 1942. The position offers a path for advancement, state-of-the-art tools, and a supportive management team.

The role emphasizes diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, using diagnostic equipment, and clear communication with customers and the service advisor. ASE certification is ideal, and a drug screen/background check is required.

• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional needed services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications, including warranty work.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership


• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment


• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs


• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications
