Job summary

Pep Boys is hiring for a customer-focused associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and drive sales of parts and services. You will handle service desk activities, process transactions at the register, and contribute to a safe, organized shop environment.

The role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and prior automotive service or sales exposure. Flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related automotive service experience.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math concepts for commissions and discounts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in store or by phone, engaging customers and scheduling appointments.
• Manage service desk transactions and assist with work orders and register activity.
• Assist with opening/closing duties where required.
• Adhere to cash, credit, refund, and return policies and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform express automotive services and basic inspections.
• Ensure safety procedures and shop cleanliness are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers and support management.
