Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Hoover, AL is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, coach technicians, and drive performance with a hands-on approach. You will partner with the Store Manager to set standards, manage operations, and ensure safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Outstanding leadership and store management skills.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Lead service department and coach team members to improve performance.
• Assist Store Manager with recruitment decisions and staffing.
• Supervise technicians, plan duties, assign work, and follow up.
• Interact with customers on sales and service opportunities.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases per company programs.
• Ensure store safety and proper equipment layout.
• Enforce wheel torqueing process and ensure inspections are conducted.
