Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) to learn VIP's culture and management processes and prepare to lead a team delivering exceptional customer experiences at Sabattus St location.

The M.I.T. will develop the team, ensure safety and compliance, manage scheduling, training, and performance, and drive VIP programs and standards to achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended.
• ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended.
• State Inspection License Required (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Learn VIP processes and build an extraordinary team.
• Hire, develop, and coach store associates; ensure LMS and vendor training.
• Schedule the team to meet customer needs during all hours.
• Communicate effectively with team via daily huddles and meetings.
• Assist with dispatching work orders to technicians and participate in training.
