Job summary

Go Auto Lancaster is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee our service department and reconditioning operations. You will lead a hands-on team and ensure vehicles are retail-ready.

This role requires strong knowledge of vehicle systems, experience in automotive service or repair management, and the ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and common repairs.
• Automotive service or repair management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple vehicles, multitask, and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily service department operations.
• Oversea vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and reconditioning.
• Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, outside vendors, and customers.
• Prioritize repairs and ensure vehicles are completed on schedule.
• Review repair estimates for internal and customer vehicles.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure vehicles are properly repaired.
• Help manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Schedule and supervise technicians and reconditioning personnel.
• Administrative tasks: pricing, invoicing, paperwork, computer systems, PA Inspection record keeping, and shop safety.
